When asked when I knew I was an artist, I'm reminded of Mrs. Sherman, my Second grade teacher, telling my parents,"Your son will be an artist when he grows up."

So I drew. Then I discovered ink. After that oil paints, hand-me-downs from my friend, Daniel.

In college, I learned how to paint with watercolor, draw the figure, work with clay, and cast metals.
